Ankara Agreement

The Ankara agreement also called the stand-still clause was signed on 12th of September 1963 between Turkey and the European Economic Community (EEC), following the request of Turkey to join the EEC in 1959.
The Ankara Agreement provides special rights for Turkish nationals and offers less stringent requirements for coming and living in the UK (and all other EU member states) under a business or worker visa, which is free of charge (Home Office charges), in addition these beneficial exceptions can normally not be overwritten by the individual member states.
Since 2009, following a decision from the European Court of Justice Turkish nationals present in Turkey are also able to apply under the Ankara Agreement.

Immint Ltd has extensive knowledge and a successful track record of making applications for Turkish nationals under the Ankara agreement and under the Turkish Workers Agreement.
